Easter at Christ of the Hills in Hot Springs Village, AR

What a glorious day this has been! Our church started out the day with a Sunrise Service at 7:00 a.m. followed by a breakfast.

At 8:50 a.m., our regular Traditional Service began with our chancel and bell choir members (I, normally, sing in the chancel choir, but chose to sit with my hubby today) bringing in the paraments, Easter Lilies, the cross adorned with a white shawl, beautiful flowers for the altar, bibles, all the Easter items signifying the arisen Christ.

We had bells ringing, people singing, trumpets blowing, organ playing...truly a beautiful scene.

You may listen to the choir and sermon today on our churches web page: http://www.cohumc.com/
As our church's web minister, I am the web master for the web page and am proud to tell you that you may also listen to our Easter Cantata and also the Maundy Thursday Service on our church's web page. Check it out! You can reach all the linkages directly from the home page.

On Maundy Thursday, Jackie Gullahorn, a member, directed a special performance where Jesus and the 12 disciples depicted Leonardo da Vinci's painting "The Last Supper." Here the photo of our production:

Hope you had a Happy Easter!
